The Trail of Sikh Shrines

Destinations:- Delhi - Chandigarh - Anandpur - Manali - Manikaran - Mandi - Amritsar - Delhi - Patna - Varanasi
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day: 01 Delhi
Arrive at Delhi - the capital of India. Upon arrival, meet and greet at the Airport and transfer to the Hotelbe met and transferred to the Hotel. Late afternoon proceed on a sightseeing tour of the city that involves visits to Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, Government Secretariats Buildings and Connaught Place.
Day: 2 Delhi
Enjoy a full day sight-seeing tour of the city that includes visits to Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, and Chandni Chowk. Rest of the day is free to explore the city on your own.
Day: 3 Chandigarh
Connect train to Chandigarh and upon arrival check into the hotel. Later explore the famous Rock Garden, Rose Garden and drive via the shrine of Fatehgarh to Rapar.
Day: 4 Anandpur
Enjoy a day visit to Anandpur where the tenth guru, Guru Gobind Singh instituted the Khalsa in 1699.
Day: 5 Manali
Morning depart for Manali by surface. Set amidst the forests of towering cedars, it offers unparalleled opportunities for trekking. Rest of the day is free to capture the beauty of nature at its best.
Day: 6 Manikaran
Embark on a full day tour to the city and visit Manikaran, which is famous for its sulphur springs and Gurudwaras.
Day: 7 Mandi
Drive to Mandi. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day: 8 Amritsar
Visit Amritsar that includes a visit to Akal Takht that literally means 'Eternal Throne'. It is located within the premises of Golden Temple.
Day: 9 Amritsar
The day is free to explore nearby shrines of Tarn Taran and Goindwal in the Punjab countryside.
Day: 10 Delhi
Board a train to New Delhi, to connect with flight to Patna, which is reputed as the second seat of Sikh authority.
Day: 11 Patna
Visit one of the holiest shrines of the Sikhs- Patna Sahib that is also reputed as the most important takht after Amritsar. Later in the day board a train to Varanasi.
Day: 12 Varanasi
Enjoy a full day sight-seeing tour of the city including visits to the temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and Bharat Mata Mandir.
Day: 13 Varanasi
Enjoy an early morning boat cruise on the river Ganges and watch a sea of humanity beginning their day with holy rituals.
